1. BE has an internship program called “OAK GREEN” in which you can apply for:

• college credit

• a paid green internship

• a grant to support innovations to improve the environment

2. You can contribute to the environmental movement through the “I AM Green” application on Facebook you can:

• Calculate, reduce and offset your carbon footprint

• Grow leaves for every ‘green action’

• Connect and tell others how to be more green

3. Introducing a new, proprietary solution we offer you to really BE GREEN and BE AWARE with our new service: “Green Check.” The next time you are shopping, you can text or email the product name and we will let you know “yes” if it is green or “no” if it is not by using proprietary programming and databases of green products based on green seal certifications.

Did you know that according to a Times article, “Eco-Buyer Beware: Green Can Be Deceiving” out of 1,018 products analyzed at big box retailers claiming to ‘green’ all failed except for ONE product?

There were false claims of ‘non toxic’ and ‘green energy’ as they lacked certification, followed non toxic laws that are at least 10 years old – as if we have to applaud a company for just following the law they already are required to.
